Among Albayina's work in refurbishment and expansion, the company carried out a home extension project for Mr. Bassam Al-Qasem, located behind King Abdullah Gardens. Extension projects differ from new-build construction in their technical challenges, requiring careful assessment of the existing structural frame to ensure the new addition integrates with it both structurally and architecturally, without compromising the safety of the original building. Albayina's engineering team carefully assessed the home's existing structural condition and developed the appropriate engineering solutions to connect the new extension to the existing structure safely and durably, while preserving the overall architectural character of the home. Work was also carried out with minimal disruption to the use of the rest of the house during the execution period.
